Our journey starts as we cross the Himalaya on the
Leh-Lamayuru, Leh, capital of Ladakh, we enjoy the sights of the Indus
Valley before taking a trek in the hills west of Leh. Gompas
(monasteries), such as Hemis and Thikse, and the former residences of
the Ladakhi kings including Stok and Shey Palaces, give an insight into
this area’s rich heritage and history. Whilst on trek there’s plenty of
time to interact with local people and experience village life in the
Himalaya of today. The trek will cross passes highest pass Kanji La
(5190M), but will be taken at a leisurely pace to allow for relaxed
exploration. The final highlight is ascending the Kanji La
pass.

DAY 01 : ARRIVAL DELHI:
Upon arrival at Delhi international airport meet to our representative
transfer to hotel. Check in at your hotel.
DAY 02: DELHI :
Morning leisure for get relax, afternoon commence Half day Old Delhi
sightseeing, visit Red Fort Delhi, Jama Masjid, Chadani Chowk, Gandhi
Memorial and Swaminarayan Akshardham temple. Rest of the time at
Connaught Palace, Overnight at hotel.
DAY 03: DELHI-LEH:
Leave early morning to domestic airport, catch your flight for Leh.
This sweeping tour offers magnificent vistas and breathtaking
excitements. On arrival at Leh airport meet to our local staff,
transfer to hotel. Full day complete rest for acclimatization is highly
recommended by us. Later in the evening you will have a formal meeting
with your trekking manager and the other crew member. Afternoon a short
walk in the market. Overngiht at hotel.
DAY 04 : LEH:
After breakfast commece full day monasteries sightseeing, visit Shey
Palace, Thiksey, Hemis Monasteries and Local market. Overnight at
hotel.
DAY 05: LEH-LAMAYURU-WANLAH, 3450M,
2 HRS DRIVE + 4-5 HRS TREK :
After an early breakfast drive to Lamayur, 2 hrs drive, upon arrival
visit the 11th century monastery, than start the trek, your fist day
trekking, you will trek through moderately easy trails. Today's
trekking route is steady till Prinkit La (3726mts), but after the pass
(the descent), suddenly path becomes narrow and dry till the Shilla
village. After crossing this stretch in 3-4 hours you will reach
Wanlah. Overnight at tent.
DAY 06: WANLA-HANUPATTA,3975m, 5-6
HRS TREK:
Cross the rive and walk along the road eastward. The trail spilits into
two, one going to the left leading towards Alchi and Sumda Chanmo.
Cross the bridge and walk along the road till it crosses another
breige. the train enter into the Hanupatta gorge which is very
dangerous for ponies. Cross the first brige and walk ignoring the
second bridge, passing through a stupa the gorge turns into a narrow
valley. The Hanupatta is reached after an easy ascent. Overnight at
camp.
DAY 07: HANUPATTA-THOTOKSAR (4050M)
OVER SIRSIRLA (4850M) 6-7 HRS TREK:
After having breakfast at camp you will start your days trekking
expedition for Photoksar. Walk along with the stream crossing the
tributries and then stream to the left, Reach Sirsir-la (4850m) and
walk alongthe stream leading to Photoksar village. Overngiht at tent.
DAY 08: PHOTOKSAR-SINGEY LA BASE
(4300M) 7-8 HRS TREK:
This morning you will trek for the impressive Lingshet enroute visiting
Sengge La. Pack your lunch and move out with your crew for Sengge La.
From Photoskar, you will rise to the Bumiktse La (4200mts) first, then
you will enjoy an easy descend to the adjacent lush dale which will
lead you to the foot of the Sengge La.Have your lunch and take rest for
a while. Post lunch move out for your next destination. Ascend Kiupa La
(3850mts) and then enjoy a steep descent to the villages of Gongma. Get
mesmerized by the stunning landscape of the valley of Nierag. After
crossing Murgum La (4100mts), you will reach Lingshet. Visit monastery.
Nightstay at tent.
DAY 09: B.C OF SINGEY LA-LINGSHET
(3950M) 6-7 HRS TREK:
Start walking after breakfast to Singey la (5050m) Walking down the
pass the trail turns to your left, which goes to Yulchung Nerags, take
the right trail to the same direction down to the hamlet. Cross the
stream and walk upward to Margola (4500m). The Lingshet village is
reached after the descent of the pass. The camp site near the school
and the monastery is above the village. Overnight at tent.
DAY 10: LINGSHET - SNYERTSE (3800M),
7-8 HRS TREK:
Today you will have the special experience of venturing into the lush
green valleys and beautiful passes. To reach from Lingshet ascent to
the Hanuma La pass (4800mts). From there enjoy a gradual descent to
Snertse. Overnight at camp.
DAY 11: SNYERTSE-HANAMUR (3450M)
OVER PARFILA (3950M) 6-7 HRS TREK:
This morning you will trek to your next stop Hanamur. Cross the stream
and walk upward for sometimes leaving the stream to you left. After a
curve start walking up to the stream and cross the bridge, the steep
ascent takes you to Parfila (3950m). Walk down to the Zangskar river
and the trail leads along the river till Hanumur, which has herder
shelter, the camp is near the field. Overngiht tent.
DAY 12:HANAMUR - PISHU (3550M) 5-6
HRS TREK:
Markha Valley Followed by a hearty breakfast in the camp, you will move
out for Pishu. After walking through the easy and picturesque plateau,
you will cross a river bridge and arrive at Pishu (05 hrs trekking).
Late evening visit Pishu village and experience typical rural life.
Nightstay.
DAY 13: PISHU-KARSHA (3850M) 6-7 HRS
TREK:
After a night in Pishu, you will trek 6 hours for your next destination
Karsha. Enroute cross Rinam. Trek along the banks of the Zanskar River
to reach to Karsha. The trek along the Zanskar River is more exiting
than other places of Ladakh. No places on earth can match the opulence
of this gorge, which is much known for its thespian good
looks.Overnight at Karsha.
DAY 14: KARSHA-PADUM (3610M) 4-5 HRS
TREK:
Leave early morning to trek to Padum. On the way, you will cross the
Doda River. Trail through a dusty terrain to reach to Pipiting and have
your lunch. From Pipiting, you will move forward to Padum. After 3 to 4
hours trekking, reach Padum. Explore the local Gompas in the evening.
Enjoy a bonfire at camp. Overnight stay.
DAY 15: PADUM - RANGDUM, 3750M,
175KM/ 5 HRS (Drive)
Today morning you will drive to Rangdum over the Pensila 4450m. This
place is placed in-between Kargil and Padum. Set amidst spectacular
surroundings, Rangdum is famous for an imposing 18th century Buddhist
monastery. Overnight in tent.
DAY 16: RANGDUM:
Rangdum comes under the most beautiful valleys of the world. Today you
can take rest at Rangdum. This place is ideal for camping without
missing the Himalayan wilderness. Visit Rangdum Gompa after lunch.
Click and capture some beautiful memories. Overnight tent.
DAY 17: RANGDUM - KAJI LA
Have breakfast in camp. From today you will start your return trekking.
Your trekking guide will take you to Kanji La (5150mts). You will trail
through the Kanji Gorge for 7 to 8 hours to reach there. Establish your
temporary camp at the Y-junction of Kanji La and Puzdon La. Nightstay.
DAY 18: KANJI LA - RIVER KONG
(4300M) 7-8 HRS TREK:
Today after having breakfast you will trek for another 7 to 8 hours to
reach your next destination River Kong (4300mts). You will enjoy a slow
and steady journey. Overnight at camp.
DAY 19: RIVER KONG - KANJI VILLAGE
3850M, 4-5 HRS TREK:
Set out for Leh Kanji breakfast. Kanji is located at 3850mts. Enjoy an
on-going descent to Kanji. The total route will be covered in 4-5
hours. Across the spectacular gorge of the Kanji valley, you will find
an isolated wild beauty, which is almost haunting and perfect.
Overnight at tent.
DAY 20: KANJI - SHILKONG (42100M)
6-7 HRS TREK:
After breakfast leave for the River Shilakong (4100mts). Your next camp
site is located near that river. Enroute crossing the Yogma La
(4700mts) you will reach at your camp site. On arrival, relax and have
your dinner. Overnight at camp.
DAY 21: SHILAKONG - LAMAYURU-ALICHI
(TREK & DRIVE)
As part of your trekking route, on your last day of trekking trip you
will, walk to Lamayuru crossing Shilla village enroute. From Shilla
village you will get your pick up for Alchi. Check into the fix tent or
house. On the bank of the famous river Indus, Overnight at hotel or fix
tent.
DAY 22: ALCHI-LIKIR-LEH (DRIVE)
After breakfast commece monastery visit, Alchi is the oldest and
richest monastery in lower Ladakh. En route visit Likir and Spituk
Monasteries. On arrival check in hotel for overnight.
DAY 23: LEH
Morning after breakfast half day local monastery sightseeing include a
17th century palace, Namgyal Tsemo Gompa, Sankar Monastery &
Shanti Stupa etc. Late evening you can take a stroll to the local
market. Buy some memento for your near and dear ones. Treat yourself
with delicious Tibetan cuisine. Overnight at Leh.
DAY 24: LEH - DELHI
Early in the morning transfer to airport. Catch your flight to Delhi.
The travel manager is already there to take you to the hotel. Half day
New Delhi sightseeing visit Qutab Minar, Humayun's Tome and Lotus
Temple. There awaits a farewell dinner with your co-travellers. Later
in time dep. transfer to international airport to flight back. End
